Development Officer and Grants Manager
The function of the Development Officer and Grants Manager is to gather documentation and fulfill the necessary requirements of various funding bodies to formally seek grant and foundation funding on behalf of the University. They will serve as the manager of grants in which faculty and staff apply to ensure the proposal matches with our non-profit institution. They must also be an astute write who knows how to properly appeal to the funding organizations boards.
Additionally, the Development Officer and Grants Manager will assist with various aspects of fundraising, campaigns, and events within the institutional Advancement office. They will focus on the cultivation of constituent relationships, solicitation and retention of donors, and the identification and solicitation of new donors.
This position will remain open until filled.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Three (3) years of grant and/or contract writing experience
• Preferred knowledge of non-profit fundraising or fundraising in higher education
