Physician Assistant (PA) Program Founding Faculty
The College of Health Sciences at Tusculum University is currently seeking founding faculty members for its Physician Assistant Program. Candidates should be passionate and experienced individuals regarding classroom and clinical instruction. Through education, training, and mentoring, faculty members will provide PA students with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed at the highest level of medical service. These faculty members will be responsible for course preparation that will include lecture and laboratory presentations, student testing and evaluation, participating in and recommending curriculum development/evaluation as well as providing tutoring and office hours for students as needed.

- Graduate of an ARC-PA (or its predecessors) accredited physician assistant program
- Certified by the NCCPA
- Tennessee license or license eligible – must obtain license within 18 months of hiring
- Graduate degree from a US regionally accredited institution (master’s required, doctorate desired). Master’s degree from PA program is acceptable.
- 3 years of PA education experience
- 3 years of PA clinical experience, primary care desired
- Eligible for appointment at the Senior Instructor Level
