Bookstore and Postal Services Manager
The Tusculum University Bookstore is currently seeking applications for a full-time Bookstore and Postal Services Manager. Candidates must have evening and weekend availability. This position will manage the University Bookstore and Postal Services. organize and complete daily tasks that includes merchandising, display set-up and maintenance, pricing, receiving, tagging, filing, sales and customer service and other duties as assigned. Interact on a regular basis with the students, faculty, staff, administration and general public to ensure strong campus relations and adherence to the University mission.
This position will remain open until filled.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a minimum a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on business with 2-3 years’ experience in retail or office, or a combination of education, training or experience that meets the needs of the University. Ideal candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, organization and customer service skills, bookkeeping abilities, above average computer skills (including MS Office), and website experience is preferred. Candidate should possess outgoing personality, team-building skills and must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with deadline constraints. Physical requirements include ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
