Director of Continuing Education and Camps

Tusculum University, Tennessee’s first institution of higher learning, is accepting applications for a dynamic, creative, and entrepreneurial individual to serve as its first Director of Continuing Education and Camps. The Director, in collaboration with campus leaders and faculty, will lead the planning, organization, marketing, staffing, and implementation of summer day and residential camps for children and adults, professional development for individuals and businesses in the community, and adult enrichment opportunities for community members. The Director will report to the university Provost, and will collaborate with academic, athletic, and administrative leaders across campus to develop the University’s standing as a central resource for community professional development and enrichment needs, and as a trusted provider of high-quality educational and recreational camps for adults and children.
The position requires some evening and weekend work.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree, but a Master’s degree is preferred. Prior experience in event planning and working for a non-profit organization are preferred. Candidates must have excellent people and soft skills.
