ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF SPORTS MANAGEMENT
Tusculum University, Tennessee’s first institution of higher learning, is accepting candidates for the position of Assistant Professor of Sport Management. This position is a full-time faculty position with primary responsibilities in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Sport Management department, service to the institution and community, and scholarly/professional development. Additional responsibilities include student advising and assisting the department chair and College of Business Dean. Faculty members are to be committed to excellence in teaching, are expected to maintain current expertise in the discipline, and to share time and talents with the larger university community.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
•The position requires a terminal degree in Sport Management or a sport-related field.
•Candidates should have experience in the Sport Studies field including, but not limited to, community relations, partnerships, on-and-off campus experiential learning opportunities,
and supervision of research.
•The successful candidate must possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; the ability to work independently and collaboratively and make value judgments; and
the ability to exhibit a high degree of tact, energy, and resourcefulness in dealing with a variety of situations and people.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, LiveText, Zoom, and Canvas is preferred.
