Administrator Financial Aid

DESCRIPTION:

Tusculum University is seeking applicants for Financial Aid Administrator in the Financial Aid Department located on the beautiful Greeneville, Tennessee Campus. This position is responsible for effectively counselling students and parents on all aspects of financial aid. Representing the University and the financial aid office at special events on and off campus. Coordinating the student employment program. Managing scholarships, awards and packages for financial aid according to regulations and policy. Performing the day-to-day financial aid processes in coordinating with other campus departments while maintaining mandatory compliance with internal policies as well as state and federal guidelines and laws.

This position will remain open until filled

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, however an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training in higher education can be substituted.
  • Effective oral, listening and written communication skills; an outgoing personality; customer service skills; the ability to work independently, and as part of a team; a flexible attitude; able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
