Admissions Processing Clerk
This position reports to the Director of Admissions Operations and is based on the Greeneville campus. The Processing Clerk is responsible for the completion of applicant files, making it possible for admission decisions to be made. File completion includes creation of files, as well as extensive data entry work.
This position will remain open until filled.
•Receive and process application documents in a timely manner, submitting completed files for review
•Accurately enter application data in CRM to create electronic records
•Attention to detail and ability to recognize inconsistencies
•Greet individuals calling in by telephone, answers general questions or requests, and refer others to appropriate staff
•Provide counseling to families and students about admission status and needed documents
•Participate in outreach functions, on an as-needed basis
•Handle confidential material in a professional manner, at all times
•Follow admissions, academic and other related administrative policies; and
•Promote the mission of Tusculum University to all faculty, staff, students and community at large
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
•High school diploma, or equivalent, required; college degree a plus
•Experience with standard office equipment, such as PC, copier, fax, etc. and computer software
•Prior experience with CRM a plus
•Prior data entry experiences a plus
•Relevant work experience, preferable at the postsecondary level a plus
