Assistant/Associate Professor of Biology
Tusculum University is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor of Biology for Fall 2023 with an emphasis in zoology, with preference for wildlife biology and/or comparative anatomy. Located in the foothills of the Southern Appalachians, Tusculum provides the successful applicant the opportunity to foster experiential learning in undergraduates. Position is available for an August 2023 start. This is a full-time, 10 month position. Tusculum faculty are responsible for teaching a minimum of 12 credits/semester, advising, service, scholarship and professional development. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
A PhD degree in discipline is preferred; teaching experience with undergraduates is required. A Master’s degree with at least 18 Masters level or higher credits in the discipline may be considered.
