DESCRIPTION:

The Communication & Fine Arts Department at Tusculum University invites applicants for a teaching position in Art & Design. Candidates should be a noted studio artist and be willing to serve as Gallery Director. Candidates should be passionate educators who can facilitate the needs of diverse learners; demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion and the creation of culturally-responsive learning environments; and exhibit a mastery of their discipline.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a studio-based Art & Design discipline. Strong preference will be given to candidates with an MFA or relevant PhD. Candidates must have a mastery of technological competencies and teaching and advising strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies. Teaching experience strongly preferred.
