Assistant Registrar, Curriculum & Catalog
Tusculum University is seeking applications for an Assistant Registrar. This full-time position reports to the Associate Registrar and is based on the Greeneville campus. The Assistant Registrar assists the Registrar and team in carrying out daily functions of the Registrar’s Office and assists students, staff, faculty, alumni and the community at large with general information. The successful candidate reviews and updates procedures and automates processes, creates curriculum-related forms, maintains curriculum management system, works with deans and department chairs regarding curriculum updates, creates and maintains undergraduate/graduate and professional catalogs, maintains course attributes for reporting, evaluates transfer credit and confers degrees, builds degree audits, updates academic status, and possesses strong written and oral communication skills. Analyze and certify academic course work for NCAA certification. Assist with the preparation of the commencement program. Generate and analyze reports for the Registrar’s Office. Process grades and prepare documentation to train office staff on updates to the SIS. This position strives to ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity and compliance with Federal and University policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
General knowledge of records processes, ability to multi-task and network, ability to work as a team member, and attention to detail is helpful in this position. The ideal candidate is an individual who has strong organizational, customer service and self-motivational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills is critical and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment is required. It is important this person is not easily distracted and can take the initiative to complete their work in a timely manner
