Assistant/Associate Professor of Teacher Education-Special Education Program Coordinator (SPED)
The College of Education at Tusculum University is seeking applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Teacher Education-Special Education Program Coordinator. Other duties include advising students, mentoring student research, and service on college committees. Applicants should be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching, a commitment to student success, and the potential to develop a program of research that can involve students.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Education from an accredited college or university, minimum of 18 graduate credits in Special Education, experience developing and teaching online courses, 3 years of K-12 teaching experience, three years of full-time college teaching experience that demonstrates excellence in teaching, and a strong commitment to teacher education.
Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Special Education; experience in program assessment; 5+ years of K-12 teaching experience working with students who have mild, moderate, and severe special needs; public school experience; and a demonstrated record of scholarly work.
