Vice President of Finance / Chief Financial Officer
Tusculum University, Tennessee’s first institution of higher learning, is accepting candidates for the position of Vice President of Finance/Chief Financial Officer. The CFO is a key member of the President’s executive leadership team assuming a strategic role in the overall management and direction of the organization including day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities. This includes accounting, finance, budget and forecasting, strategic planning, purchasing and contracting, audit program integrity, financial policy, business/vendor relationships, facilities, maintenance and physical plant operations, as well as maintaining key relationships with regulatory agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- MBA or master’s degree in finance, business, or related area;
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), PhD preferred;
- Significant experience in progressively responsible positions in finance and administration to include long-range strategic financial and facilities planning;
- An effective, balanced, and collaborative leadership style that combines a capacity for strategic vision with technical experience in financial management; and
Demonstration of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship in revenue generation.
