Tusculum University is seeking applications for Telecounselor positions. These are part-time positions that report to the Director of Undergraduate Admission and are based from the Greeneville campus. The primary responsibility is to represent Tusculum by contacting prospective students to educate them about scholarship opportunities and share information about: upcoming admissions events, campus tours, missing application materials, new student orientation sessions, and how they love being a Tusculum Pioneer. The work for the position also includes some data entry, sitting for long periods of time wearing a headset

Current Tusculum students, alumni and or applicants with experience working in an admissions or enrollment services areas preferred. General knowledge of admission processes, computer software, and telemarketing is helpful in this position. The ideal candidate is an individual who is self-motivated and is able to work efficiently in a busy environment. It is important this person is not easily distracted and can take the initiative to make quality phone calls while meeting established goals. Candidates will follow a script but also is a ‘story teller’ for Tusculum University.
