Dean of the College of Nursing
The College of Nursing at Tusculum University is doing a nationwide search to identify an innovative, forward thinking, strategic leader to advance the college and institution in its next growth phase. New leadership at the board, presidential, and provost levels have reaffirmed Tusculum University’s path forward in its new Mission Statement:

The new Dean of the College of Nursing will have the opportunity to align nursing faculty, staff, students and programs behind this mission in its next phase of growth.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- An earned doctorate degree in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree with a major in nursing from an accredited college or university and three years’ experience of full-time teaching and/or administrative positions in an approved college of professional nursing.
- Five years of successful nursing practice and administrative/teaching experience with demonstrated knowledge and experience in curriculum development and evaluation; test construction and analysis; clinical contract negotiation; grant writing and the promotion of faculty development in teaching, scholarship and service.
- Current licensure or license eligibility as a registered nurse in Tennessee.
