Associate Registrar & Director of Technical Systems
Tusculum University is seeking applications for an Associate Registrar. This full-time position reports to the Registrar and is based on the Greeneville campus. The successful candidate will confer undergraduate and graduate degrees, oversee technical software, apply data integrity, process academic status, oversee and build degree audits, help students and communicate with various constituents. The Associate Registrar assists the Registrar and team in organizing and supervising the operation in the Registrar’s Office. Prepares and maintains a variety of reports, data, documents, and performs complex and technical duties involved in academic progress, grade processing, transcript evaluation, student registration, catalog and curriculum updates, and provides technical assistance and information to students, staff and the public. The Associate Registrar works closely with other departments and staff to ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity and compliance with Federal and University policies and procedures. The Associate Registrar is part of the registrar’s team and helps in the day-to-day processes, oversees catalog maintenance and participates on various committees. In the absence of the Registrar, the Associate Registrar will assume the responsibilities of the Registrar.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred; a minimum of 3-5 years progressively responsible experience in a registrar’s office or enrollment services area in a higher education setting required. Knowledge of academic records, graduation, degree audit, transfer evaluation, catalog and curriculum, compliance, academic calendar, and budget management required. The ability to multi-task, network, work as a team member, and attention to detail is required. The ideal candidate is an individual who has strong organizational, customer service and self-motivational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills is critical and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment is required.
