DESCRIPTION:

Tusculum University is seeking qualified candidates for Assistant Athletic Trainers. These are full-time positions with benefits. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Head Athletic Trainer with all aspects of the athletic training program and performing other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Athletic Director. The successful candidates will serve as athletic training services provider for Tusculum’s NCAA Division II Football and Men’s Volleyball and Tennis teams. Team travel as well as night, weekend, and holiday work will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree is preferred. Qualified applicants will have NATABOC certification and Tennessee Licensure (or eligible). Candidates should possess effective time management skills, the ability to handle confidential information, effective oral and written communications skills, as well as the ability to serve as a professional role model for athletic training students.
