Coordinator of Residence Life and Housing
Tusculum University seeks qualified candidates for the position of Coordinator of Residence Life and Housing. This position reports to the Dean of Students and serves as the primary professional contact for residence life and housing operations. The Coordinator manages all para-professionals (Resident Assistants) and is responsible for planning and facilitating para-professional trainings and professional development programming.…This person collaborates with institutional personnel to manage housing data and serves as the primary point of contact to update and maintain contemporary residence life data platforms. The successful candidate will be familiar with best practices in residence life in higher education institutions. Additionally, this person serves as the liaison with Facilities Management, as it relates to housing and residence life. The Coordinator supports Resident Assistants and Campus Security, always helping to de-escalate situations; accompanies students who are hospitalized or otherwise in need of serious attention; serves as a liaison between students, parents, and administrative or hospital or other parties in coordinator with RA staff. Coordinator also conducts wellness checks. This position is a “live on” campus position with an included meal plan. Living quarters are a private room with private bath and living room.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and a Master’s Degree is desired in the following disciplines, college student personnel, higher education administration, counseling, or related fields. Experience in planning and implementing student engagement programming in higher education environment is required.
