The Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of professional licensure and regulatory compliance project deliverables and timeframes within the licensure and regulatory team. The Project Coordinator will also conduct research and administrative tasks in support of a wide variety of regulatory, professional licensure and compliance matters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, manage and support team project schedules to ensure timeliness to completion
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and contributors
- Provide administrative, licensure and regulatory team support. Includes management of team email, and providing first tier customer service/phone support to learners, prospective learners and alumni.
- Conduct research of state laws, regulations and professional requirements for a variety of licenses and certifications in all U.S. and some international jurisdictions
- Serve as Sharepoint administrator. Develop and maintain internal and external licensure and regulatory support resources.
- Assist with and prepare state regulatory filings
- Perform administrative and other duties as assigned
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Paralegal certification preferred
Work Experience:
- Two years work experience as a project coordinator, legal assistant or related role
- Experience working in an academic or educational setting preferred
- Relevant experience includes previous roles requiring coordination of multiple projects, relationship-building, student/customer service and problem resolution
Job Skills:
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, and organize time and information in a fast-paced environment to successfully complete projects.
- Research and organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative and follow-through
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage complex interpersonal relationships at multiple levels of the organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, and ability to learn other key software applications
- Periodic air, overnight and local travel required
- Must have the flexibility to work more than 40 hours per week based on business needs
- Must be able to lift at minimum 1 lb.
