ECU School of Social Work is currently seeking a Research Assistant to work 10 hours per week assisting the School of Social Work professor in collecting data from NC Departments of Children Services for submitting federal research grant in collaboration with the Center for Health Disparities. This grant focuses on the importance of teaching social workers who work in children’s’ services departments about genetics and bioethics associated with childhood genetic disorders commonly correlated with child services referrals.

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)

-Preferred experience with research or survey work
-Human services, sociology, or psychology major preferred but not necessary
-Must have the ability to work with little supervision as well as complete tasks in a timely manner
