Digital Marketing Coordinator
DescriptionThe Digital Marketing Coordinator supports communication strategy for Temple University’s email and social media presence. Working closely with and taking direction from the Digital Marketing Manager, this position will be responsible for email marketing and collaborative efforts to create and implement digital strategies and tactics to advance Temple University’s marketing and communications initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing or a related field. At least 2 years of email marketing experience; experience creating HTML/CSS emails. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:* Knowledge of email automation platforms or tools.* Knowledge of email marketing best practices.* Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.* Knowledge of databases or CRM platforms.* Strong copywriting skills and ability to craft compelling customer-facing messaging.* Agile and can adapt to a fast-paced environment.* Can balance working independently and working closely within a team environment.* Communicate clearly and effectively in writing and in person.* Superior organizational skills - must be able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.* Ability to manage confidential information.* Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills including the ability to establish cooperative working relationships with supervisors, colleagues and campus partners.
