DescriptionThe Senior Administrative Specialist will provide administrative support to theLewis Katz School of Medicine’s Department of Continuing Medical Education(CME). Under general supervision, the incumbent will complete administrativetasks, such as, providing front desk support, greeting visitors and staff, andanswering the department phone; responding to queries of a routine naturereceived via phone and email; preparing agendas, notices, reports andconfidential correspondence; creating documents to be used during courses suchas syllabus, slide decks, cover pages, etc.; maintaining the CME database forevents, registration, and expenses; attending conferences, and assisting withevent planning, onsite logistics and registration coordination; creating,distribution and compiling evaluations; and supporting the department regardingfacilities and computer services requests, as needed. In addition, theincumbent will work with outside vendors to coordinate deliveries to and fromevents. Performs other duties as assigned. 

Required Education and Experience: 
At least 3 years of directly related administrative support experience. Anequivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
 
Required Skills and Abilities:
*Demonstrated computer skills, and proficiency with MS Office Suite programs.
*Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, along with the ability tointeract with a diverse constituent population.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Demonstrated prioritization, multi-tasking and organizational skills, alongwith the ability to be detail-oriented.
*Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
*Demonstrated ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced workenvironment.

Preferred:
*Bachelor’s Degree.
