Job Description Summary

Provides support for the Continuing Education Program through assisting staff in material preparation, and student support services. May assist the program through marketing outreach to area school districts, community partners and agencies and other related duties as required.

Essential Functions & Qualifications

Required:

  • Aide IV: Can work independently to help students with the registration/matriculation process and a variety of program outreach. Must have at least one year related experience.
  • Aide V: Can work independently to help students with the registration/ matriculation/assessment process, assist with a variety of program outreach, and student support services. Must have at least one year of related experience and one year working in an educational program.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of Continuing Education students
Desirable:
  • Experience working with students and their families, faculty, and staff in an educational setting
Additional Information

Placement as an Aide IV, or V will be based on experience in the Continuing Education program and/or other comparable work experience.
