Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology

St. Norbert College invites applications for a one year Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology beginning in August of 2019. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in our two semester General Biology sequence, microbiology, and a course in the candidate’s area of expertise as an elective for upper-level biology majors. Each course includes a laboratory component, and the course load will be two per semester. While not required, an opportunity exists to perform research with undergraduates. Visiting Assistant Professors have no committee service or advising responsibilities. A demonstration of teaching effectiveness will be part of the interview process. A Ph.D. in Biology or a related field is preferred, although A.B.D. candidates are encouraged to apply.
