Part-time Faculty/Adjunct for First and Second Semester Spanish Status

Nebraska Wesleyan University is seeking applicants to fill an adjunct teaching position for the upcoming academic year (Fall 2019: August 26-December 21, 2019 and Spring 2020: January 13 - May 9). Consideration will be given to applicants who are able to teach coordinated sections of First- and Second-Semester (Stage 1 and Stage 2) Spanish. Currently, the department has a need for 2 sections of Stage 1 Spanish in the Fall, and 2 sections of Stage 2 Spanish in the Spring, with the potential to continue the following year.

Department Modern Languages Qualifications
  • At least a Master’s Degree in the discipline
  • One to three years of teaching experience is preferred
  • Experience with best practices about teaching novice language learners, with a focus on communication
  • Background check and official transcripts needed post job offer, pre-employment
