DESCRIPTION: Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for a Biology position for the School of Arts and Sciences in the Department of Natural Sciences to begin Fall 2019. Rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor depending upon qualifications. The position involves teaching, scholarship, and service. Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening, lower level and/ or upper level biology courses. One position is available at the Cochran campus. Travel from home campus to another campus (Warner Robins and Dublin,GA) may be required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Biology or related field. For Assistant Professor rank and tenure-track status, the successful candidate will have a terminal degree in Biology or a related field, Ph.D. is preferred. Candidate selected for employment will be subject to a background check.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience and rank. Salary for 10-month contract is in the – upper 40’s; for Assistant Professor rank– upper 30’s for a Lecturer rank.
