Position SummaryResponsible for the oversight of online programs and their development with vendors to support online degree programs at the Department of Administration, Leadership, and Technology (ALT). Develop and implement new policies and procedures to help deliver online courses and manage course sites. Liaise with offices throughout the University, including the registrar, bursar, financial aid, etc. Manage vendors to implement continuous improvement of course sites, delivery and student experience. Work with students to answer questions, solve issues and gather feedback. Prepare, deliver, and analyze surveys and other data. Improve student experience and online programs across ALT based on student feedback and an analysis of survey and other data. The program coordinator will be responsible for creating, distributing and compiling data from student surveys and well as reviewing data from other sources such as course analytics and web site metrics and using data insights to drive improvement to make sure we’re offering the best courses possible. Monitor key performance indicators to ensure high student satisfaction. Liaise with faculty who are teaching online courses for delivery and to resolve problems, develop policies and procedures and implement improvements.QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:2+ years Of relevant experience in higher education, student services, web and data management, online content or the equivalent combination.Preferred Experience:Experience in a large, highly selective college or university or in a non-profit organization.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent interpersonal, communication and student service skills are essential, along with strong organizational and relationship building skills. Candidates must have familiarity with content management systems as well as word processing and spreadsheet applications. Ability to interact respectfully and professional with a diverse population at all levels is required.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Google docs, Asana, Qualtrics or other survey software, data and web analytics experience. Problem triage, escalation and troubleshooting skills desirable.
