Job Details
Join SCAD Savannah as a part-time Professor of Advertising and teach advertising-related courses such as design, copywriting, strategic planning and integrated brand marketing.
SCAD advertising students gain expertise in every facet of advertising, taking top honors in industry competitions and, as alumni, telling the stories of the world’s biggest brands.
The ideal candidate has experience working for advertising agencies and in-house groups on diverse issues such as creative strategy and execution, concept development and client presentations. They have demonstrated expertise in a variety of capacities including production, media buying, account service and planning, brand management, interactive design, coding, digital implementation, AR/VR and UX/UI. The ability to work with students and faculty of diverse backgrounds is essential.
This is your chance to work with talented students within the historic district of Savannah, Georgia, a walkable, bikeable coastal city that provides a living laboratory for the study of art and design.
Requirements:
•Terminal degree or its equivalent in advertising or a related field
•College-level teaching experience preferred
•Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
