Work Schedule: Hours will depend on program needs.

Job Description:

Ensure that participants are supervised at all times, and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment

• Acts as a leader for all participants, providing them with instructions for daily activities

• Perform head-counts of participants throughout the day

• Ensure participants are safe (properly hydrated, operating areas are free of hazards, etc.)

• Follow all protocol found in the standard operating procedure

• Assist with the coordination and leading the schedule and activities for the participants

• Proactively makes and returns phones calls regarding information about the program

• Assists parents of potential participants with locating and completing the appropriate forms on the College website

• Prepares all necessary paperwork and documentation for participants

• Assists the Program Coordinator with the purchasing and collection of needed supplies

• Actively participates in parent/participant orientation

• Keeps track of supplies and convey any needs as required

• Interact with parents/guardians during drop-off and pick-up times

• Assign duties for daily set-up and clean-up of the area

• Responsible for all activity supplies throughout the campus as well as off site, including but not limited to, transporting and set-up/break-down of supplies

• Performs other duties as assigned




• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and demonstrated experience working with high school aged students

• At least 18 years of age

• Valid Ohio State Driver’s License

• Valid First Aid and CPR Certifications, or ability to obtain before the program begins


• Possess excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Possess strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to work accurately with great attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize/handle multiple tasks and work with deadlines in a dynamic environment

• Excellent customer service skills and proven ability to develop and sustain productive customer relationships

• Possess sensitivity to appropriately respond to the needs of a diverse population
