SUMMARY Provides instructional support to students enrolled in the Aspire program by utilizing instructional best practices as directed. Works directly with students assisting in one-on-one, small group, classroom, and studio settings. Supports the Program’s objectives and initiatives as directed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Qualifications:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING Bachelor’s Degree Significant related experience may substitute for educationMinimum of two years of academic or instructional experience working directly with studentsDemonstrated previous success in motivating and encouraging students KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES Possess basic knowledge of fundamental Instructional concepts in Math/English with the ability to apply in various situationsPossess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to foster a team environment and work collaborativelyDemonstrated commitment to providing exemplary customer serviceIntermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointPossess sensitivity to appropriately respond to the needs of a diverse population COMPETENCIES CRITICAL COMPETENCIES Service FocusCommunicationAdaptability VERY IMPORTANT COMPETENCIES Time UtilizationContinuous Improvement IMPORTANT COMPETENCIES CollaborationQuality of Work PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS (The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
