  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage a variety of tasks/activities in a timely/effective manner; follow verbal directions and instruction to perform work; and promote and maintain good interpersonal relationships

This position performs detailed analysis to forecasts funds needed for staffing, equipment, contracts, materials and supplies for projects with an IT component. The duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Analyze complex business problems and assess how automated systems can be implemented to solve them; review, analyze and evaluate business and user needs; develop an understanding of different types of organizational problems, identifying and applying appropriate tools; outline business needs; document findings/recommendations to business processes to increase system effectiveness
  • Prepare a cost benefit analysis for new IT projects or programs to forecast appropriate funds needed and prepare justification for the investment requiring funding; research, compile, maintain, and update project budget and forecast data to provide management with expenditure data, trend analysis and recommendations; participate in the development and administration of annual budget planning processes
  • Consult with customers in the preparation of business proposals for new projects and programs and plan, organize, coordinate, and schedule a review for project spend as needed
  • Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc business object reports; assist with project and operational support documentation including, documents, process and data flow diagrams, solution design specifications, implementation plans and testing scripts, and reporting of results
