This position also serves as a consultant to all IT recourses for their supported customer base, while providing "at-the-elbow" support for all instructional technologies, within and outside of the classroom The duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Serve as functional administrator of enterprise systems including Learning Management Systems, Lecture Capture Systems, electronic testing and evaluation systems, communications and collaboration tools, digital media asset management, various digital media, web & mobile enabled instructional technologies
  • Assist with administration, coordination of system updates (with internal and external system/solutions providers, Technology Services and customers), evaluating, testing and planning software releases and upgrades, analysis and resolution of functional problems, research and development of new learning technology systems, and functional training
  • Provide hands-on end user support of AU's Instructional Technology systems
  • Provide consultations, customized documentation, and training for academic programs to individual faculty for the development of Instructional Technology strategies and selection of tools and best practices to meet instructional needs
  • Provide orientations and training (online or in-person) for entering students by designing and developing customized documentation and opportunities
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by the delivery of ongoing information systems and serving as liaison between Technology Services and AU's enterprise community
  • Identify technology opportunities, trends, strategies to advance the enterprise mission; apply instructional education standards, methodologies and principles to collegiate needs, objectives, and outcome
  • Lead collegiate Instructional Technology Advisory Committee (ITAC)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
