The Department of Ophthalmology in the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is seeking a qualified internal candidate to fill the position of Associate Professor specializing in medical and surgical vitreoretinal disease, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, macular disease, retinal vascular disease, retinal degenerations, and retinal detachments to complete the following duties and responsibilities:

• Provide care to patients
• Teach medical students and residents
• Participate in committees, research projects and local/national organizations/societies

Faculty members provide general ophthalmic care and are trained to provide expertise in a variety of subspecialties including cornea, glaucoma, optometry, pediatrics, plastics, and retina.
