Sr. Financial Analyst/Contract & Grants

Under the general direction of the Department Manager the incumbent is responsible for the financial and pre- and post-award administrative management of federal and private contracts and grants (approx. $6-8 million) as well as other extramural funds that support various research and instructional programs within the Department of Population Health & Disease Prevention.

As part of the Department's Business and Administration Team, the incumbent has independent decision making authority, policy analysis and interpretation and independent problem solving responsibilities that requires on-going interaction with all levels of university and agency faculty and staff.

Incumbent is responsible for providing specific direction to faculty and staff to assure compliance with recent revisions to contract and grant costing principals. This requires knowledge in: agency specific contracts and grants policies; material management to include purchasing and equipment acquisition principles; personnel/payroll policies and procedures; gift administration; recharge principles; research subcontracting concepts; indirect cost principles; policies and practices related to Uniform Guidance/UG, FDP, Federal CAS requirements.

Salary: Monthly $4,968.58 - $6,755.83
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
