Position Description:
The Senior Director of Business Development manages human and financial resources to maximize executive education program sales and enrollment in the following areas: sales strategy development and implementation, business development and client management (customer relationship management), program design and development, faculty relations and outreach. The Senior Director of Business Development is responsible for the creation of an integrated sales strategic plan and manages human resources to oversee the implementation of such plan. The Senior Director of Business Development supports UCLA Anderson Executive Education's mission statement by using comprehensive knowledge of the executive education marketplace, corporate management development and UCLA Anderson faculty expertise to identify programming trends and create custom and open enrollment programming opportunities. The Senior Director of Business Development is responsible for his/her own client relationships, and sells the entire UCLA Anderson product line.. The Senior Director of Business Development possesses expertise in customer relationship management software systems (Salesforce and Marketing Cloud preferred) and understands the organizational issues faced during database conversions.

In the 2007 edition of U.S. News and World Report, UCLA Medical Center was ranked best in the West, as well as one of the top 3 hospitals in the United States alongside Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Johns Hopkins Hospital. In 15 of the 16 medical specialty areas examined, UCLA Medical Center ranked in the top 20.
