Job Description Summary
Selected applicants will be interviewed to establish a pool of approved Note Takers for possible part-time, temporary assignments. Assignments may be for day, evening, or weekend classes at the San Luis Obispo Campus, North County Campus or South County Center.

The Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) provides information and supportive services to Cuesta College students with verified disabilities to help them participate fully and benefit equitably from the college experience.

Note Takers help support DSPS students by fulfilling the note taking assistance accommodation as outlined in an Academic Accommodation Plan (AAP). This plan is developed for each DSPS student which links student´s goals, curriculum program, and academic accommodations to meet their specific educational limitation.

Incumbents in this position use a laptop, smart pen and/or hand write clear, accurate and understandable notes. Must be able to provide notes to student the same day as the class. May be asked to scribe, read and/or assist with accommodated testing, including proctoring for finals.

Essential Functions & Qualifications
Ability to take clear and concise classroom notes.
