Lafayette College Athletics is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual to lead its Athletic Ticket Office and day-to-day promotional efforts for 23 sports.
This person will execute the athletic ticketing operations, cultivate new and continuing relationships with ticket holders, provide excellent customer service, develop new marketing initiatives in cooperation with the Athletic Communications Department, and carry out in-game promotions.
Responsibilities also include ticket management for gate receipt events (Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, various championships and tournaments); preparation of financial reports; maintaining ticketing system; assist in the development and implementation of new ticket sales strategies and promotions; work closely with various campus entities and external groups to increase sales; and supervise, engage, and motivate Game Day Ticket and Event Staff.
Collaborate with the Athletics Communications Department on promotional activities for all 23 sports, supporting our Strategic Plan. Coordinate with sponsors, community organizations, and the campus community to increase fan engagement and attendance at events. This position serves on the External Staff and the Management Team of the Athletics Department.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Athletics, the successful candidate must have the ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and problem solve creatively.
Some travel, night, and weekend work is required. Position to also include other duties as assigned by the Athletic Administration as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Demonstrated experience in ticketing, customer service, marketing, sales, and money management.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
Knowledge of University Tickets is a plus.
