Duties of Position:

Greets and assists Harper College Learning and Career Center students, faculty and staff. Provides excellent customer service as well as general information and directions for LCC. General office duties, answer phones, photocopying, filing, set up student appointments. Assist office staff with special projects as needed. Bilingual students (in particular Spanish or Polish) are always needed but this is not a requirement of the job.

Assist students in-person, by phone, email and chat with basic questions about College procedures as well as how to perform transactions in My Harper (student portal) such as registering, checking on financial aid status, applying for scholarships and signing up for a payment plan.

Education Requirements: In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer)

Experience Requirements: Will train

Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on student's availability. Must have some availability to work during the following hours:




8 am - 10 pm


8 am - 10 pm


8 am - 10 pm


8 am - 10 pm


8 am - 4:30 pm



Maximum hours per week: 20
