Job Description: The Health Information Technology Program is seeking adjunct faculty to teach various didactic courses. This position is taught on the main campus in Palatine, IL only.

1. ICD-10-CM/PCS

2. CPT Coding

3. Healthcare Reimbursement

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in health information related field with an RHIA, RHIT or CCS credential.

Experience Requirements:

Current coding experience (for coding courses).

Current experience in Healthcare Reimbursement/Managed Care (for Healthcare Reimbursement course).

Previous teaching and/or training experience.

Knowledge or experience with course management system such as Blackboard.

Experience using 3M encoder.
