Duties of Position:
Shelves library materials according to LC Classification System.
Checks materials and laptops in and out.
Responsible for maintaining study rooms.
Provides information to patrons in person and by telephone, and makes necessary referrals, assists patrons, as needed.
Maintains stacks and ensures that public service areas are in order.
Troubleshoots fax machine, printers, computers, print stations, and book-scanning stations.
Assists with outreach tables and programming.
Answer phones.
Basic customer service.
General light office work.
Perform related duties, as assigned.
Education Requirements: In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer).
Experience Requirements: Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on student's availability.
Must have some availability to work evenings and some weekends.
Maximum hours per week: 20 hours
