Job Summary
The University of Southern Mississippi invites applicants for a full-time, nine-month, visiting faculty position in the School of Finance. This expected start date will be in August 2019.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities of this position include teaching undergraduate and graduate finance courses in the undergraduate BSBA finance degree program, with the possibility of teaching in the College of Business and Economic Development’s MBA program. We seek individuals who are collegial, team-oriented and student-centered. The School of Finance faculty are actively engaged in scholarly, professional and pedagogical research and participate in our assurance of learning processes.

Minimum QualificationsA doctorate degree in finance or other appropriate degrees and certifications such that the candidate will be considered a scholarly or a practice academic in finance for AACSB accreditation purposes is required. Additionally, evidence of excellence in collegiate teaching and institutional/professional service is required.

Preferred Qualifications The preferred candidate will have professional experience in finance. Evidence of scholarly research and experience in teaching hybrid/flipped/online classes are pluses.
