Job Summary
The University of Southern Mississippi invites applicants for a full-time, nine-month, visiting faculty position in the areas of Cybersecurity and Management Information Systems (MIS). The expected start date will be in August 2019.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities of this position include teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in the cybersecurity/MIS area for our undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Business and Economic Development. We seek individuals who are collegial, team-oriented and student-centered.


Minimum Qualifications A doctorate degree in MIS with an emphasis in cybersecurity or work in cybersecurity. Additionally, for candidates with prior employment in higher education, evidence of excellence in collegiate teaching and institutional/professional service is required. As the person in this position may collaborate with NCS4, a willingness to build programs is important.

Preferred Qualifications The preferred candidate will have professional experience in cybersecurity. Evidence of scholarly research and experience in teaching hybrid/flipped/online classes are also plusses.
