DescriptionJob Purpose: Provide professional services in support of unit management infield as specified in the particular job posting. Focus will be in a professionalfield such as Communications, Marketing, Customer Service, AcademicAdministration, Event Management, Procurement, etc. Specific duties will bedetermined based on assignment and unit needs.

 Major Responsibilities:
  • Perform duties related to professional field assignment.
  • Participate in reviews for compliance with policy and governmental regulations in the field.
  • Provide input to department policies and procedures.
  • May provide input to and administer project timelines and budgets.
  • May interact with vendors regarding procurement and delivery issues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Work Experience: Zero to two years job related experience
  • Certifications: N/A
  • Skills: This job requires application of professional principles, processes and practices; application of regulations; utilization of basic and advanced computer applications including those specific to areas of responsibility; communication skills.

  • Preferred Education: N/A
  • Preferred Work Experience: 2-3 years working or volunteering with grades K-12

  • Tasks may include, but are not limited to: 
  • Maintaining attendance records, writing lesson plans, teaching lessons, and providing evaluation feedback
  • Creating Project-Based Learning (PBL) science-based unit that includes English Language Arts (ELA) and Math tasks
  • Planning and instructing in math, reading, and science using a wide variety of teaching aids
  • Attend all field trips, participate in daily meals (breakfast & lunch) with the students, supervise bus duty, and attend faculty meetings
  • Additional Information: This is a temporary position, limited to 1300 hours or 12consecutive months, and subject to ACA and GT guidelines for temporaryemployment.
