Job Details
The School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of the Pacific invites applications for a full-time Lecturer, to begin in Fall 2019. The primary responsibility of this position will be teaching up to seven undergraduate courses per year. These courses will include introductory computer programming courses; other assignments are possible depending on experience.
This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position. It is a potentially renewable appointment from one up to two years. This is a non-tenure track faculty position, with no expectation for research or scholarship. This position is located on the Stockton campus.
Applicants must have a MS in computer science, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Additional QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have experience teaching computer programming and a strong interest in undergraduate education. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

The Pacific Tigers compete in NCAA Division I athletics primarily as a member of the West Coast Conference. Fielding seven men’s teams and eleven women’s teams, the Pacific Tigers continue to add individual and team successes to an already outstanding performance record, including more than 30 conference championships and more than 60 NCAA tournament appearances.
