Qualified candidates should have earned a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in neuroscience, anatomy, or related field.

Required Related Experience

Qualified candidates should have classroom experience in teaching anatomical sciences or neuroscience, with a strong record of scholarly activity. Candidates applying for appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor should also be nationally or internationally recognized scholars.

Job Summary

The Department of Neuroscience in the College of Medicine at the University of Kentucky (https://neuroscience.med.uky.edu/) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor. This is primarily a teaching position, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute substantially to teaching two large undergraduate courses each semester. In addition, this position will be expected to actively develop an educational pedagogy that involves state of the art and innovative learning formats, participate in teaching of other undergraduate level courses as needed, and to coordinate undergraduate teaching and advising efforts in the Department.
