The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Medicine invites applications for a faculty position in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine.
The appointee will join four other maternal-fetal medicine physicians and be a contributing member of the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine in delivering excellent clinical, research, teaching, and community services, as well as integrating the division’s activities with those of the department, the School of Medicine, and the University of Missouri..
Qualifications include doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathic medicine (BC in General Obstetrics and Gynecology and BC/BE in Maternal Fetal Medicine). The successful candidate should have outstanding leadership, funded research achievements, and academic qualifications for the rank of assistant professor, associate professor or professor in the tenure track. Furthermore, a competitive candidate will demonstrate the aptitude to simultaneously manage a successful clinical practice (20 – 60%) and a funded research program (40 – 80%). Rank and competitive salary will be commensurate with training, academic level, and experience. An attractive research startup package will be provided.
