SCAD seeks a Design Group Coordinator to perform administrative and logistical duties as assigned and to provide valuable support services to facility operations. In this position you will be responsible for all departmental purchase requests in e-commerce and for processing all departmental travel requests and reimbursement requests in Concur.
Additionally, you will execute regular building inspections and create facility condition assessment reports, entering work orders and coordinating the completion of multiple tasks by various trades. You will maintain the department calendar including building inspection schedules, important event dates, executive administration walk-through and classroom visits, and tour schedules. You will also support and facilitate personnel moves by coordinating operations with Support Services, Design Group, other trades, and university clients.
The ideal candidate has a successful track record in a design, construction or facility maintenance environment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and computer skills (specifically Word and Excel).
–Bachelor’s degree plus three to five years related experience
–Valid driver’s license and access to transportation
–Must adhere to all OSHA regulations and safe practices
–Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
