Join SCAD Savannah as a full-time Professor of Dramatic Writing. In this role, you will teach courses in collaborative TV writers’ rooms, screenwriting and your own area of expertise. You will undertake responsibilities supporting cross-departmental creative initiatives in TV and film productions as well as live and digital immersive experiences.

The ideal candidate has exceptional industry experience, possesses a student-centered teaching philosophy and is committed to the goals of a diverse and inclusive academic department. As an energetic leader, he or she exhibits excellent communication skills, supports an ensemble-based approach and is able to dive into multiple projects at a time.

This is your chance to work with talented students within the historic district of Savannah, Georgia, a walkable, bikeable coastal city that provides a living laboratory for the study of art and design.

Requirements:
•Terminal degree or its equivalent
•Expertise in TV writers’ rooms and/or collaborative working environments
