The Department of Special Education at Clarion University invite applications of qualified candidates to fill an anticipated temporary full-time faculty position for the 2019 – 2020 academic year. Individuals hired may be offered an additional year 2020 – 2021 based on acceptable evaluation of performance and student enrollment demand.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of a Master’s degree in special education or a related field (see below) is required. The successful candidate(s) will have teaching experiences serving individuals with disabilities and ACT 33 and 34, and FBI clearances, and Special Education Certification and/or Reading Specialist Certification. Individuals may teach undergraduate and graduate courses to special education teacher candidates, advise students as well as supervise student teachers. The candidate must complete a successful interview.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with on-line instruction

Doctorate in Special Education

BCBA or BCBA-D in good standing

Certified CLM Coordinator or at minimum Certified CLM Coach with at least 2 years experience and currently enrolled in CLM coordinator-in-Training coursework
