The Department of Management and Marketing, in the College of Business Administration and Information Sciences at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing.
Our COBAIS offers an MBA program. Thus, the teaching assignments may include both undergraduate and MBA courses. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, research productivity at a level that satisfies AACSB requirements for faculty, advising students, and participating in departmental, college, and university committees.

Our teaching facilities currently allow for classes to be delivered via face-to-face, online, or ITV. We emphasize the applied method of teaching, using the profession’s best practices throughout our curriculum. Our teaching load is four courses per semester with release time available for graduate teaching and research.

Required Qualifications

Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in Marketing or related field or ABD with significant progress toward completion of the degree. The successful completion of an on-campus interview, research presentation, and classroom demonstration is also required. A successful ABD candidate will be given two years to obtain a Ph.D. or will be subject to non-renewal.

Preferred Qualifications

At least four years experience in teaching at the college level plus a willingness to also teach Management and Human Resource Management courses as needed. Experience in teaching Marketing, Management, Operations, and Human Resource courses is preferred.
