College/School College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Responsibilities
The Department of Art, Media and Design within the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at DePaul University invites expressions of interest in part-time faculty teaching opportunities. Part-time teaching opportunities are available throughout the academic year. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview. Academic course schedules fluctuate from quarter to quarter and the department will work with selected individuals to determine a quarterly schedule. Courses are not guaranteed; however the Department does its best to give ample notice about available courses and potential course cancellations.
Required Qualifications
-MFA in a related Arts field
-Minimum of 1-2 years full-time teaching (not as a graduate student) in a University or Liberal Arts College
-Schedule must be flexible to accommodate quarterly course schedules (Studio block meets for 2 hours and 45 minutes, twice a week)

Location

Located in Chicago, Illinois, DePaul has two primary campuses and four suburban locations. It is separated by a 20-minute trip on Chicago’s “el” train from the Lincoln Park Campus, close to Lake Michigan and Wrigley Field.
